Safadi expressed appreciation of Canada’s support to Jordan in addressing economic challenges, the refugee crisis and its support to UNRWA.

The two ministers also went over cooperation in curbing the spread of the pandemic and its repercussions, as well as efforts to realise comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.

Garneau praised the humanitarian role of the Kingdom towards refugees, stressing the role of Jordan in enhancing regional peace and stability.
