Ayla is now recognised as a global tourism destination on global travel platform TripAdvisor for travellers looking for a one-stop experience in Aqaba.
This recognition reflects the company’s commitment to consistently delivering luxurious and exceptional experiences for guests, according to an Ayla statement.
"This latest achievement served to strengthen Ayla’s distinct position locally and globally on the tourism map as a multi-use residential, leisure and entertainment destination, and one of the region’s most dynamic and sophisticated integrated urban projects,” read the statement.
Ayla is Jordan’s first integrated tourism and entertainment destination to secure this position on TripAdvisor, according to the statement,
"As a resort, we continue to progress and advance, and the latest recognition by TripAdvisor facilitates the travel planning process, allowing users to access all the relevant information about Ayla,” Ayla Oasis Development Company Director of Marketing and Communications Husam Al Zu’bi said in the statement.
"At Ayla, we offer an integrated destination for tourism, entertainment and accommodation, delivering only the finest hospitality and entertainment services with an eye for even the smallest details while keeping our finger on the pulse of the latest and most up-to-date global travel trends,” he said.
TripAdvisor is an online travel company that operates a website and mobile app with user-generated content and a comparison shopping website. It also offers online hotel reservations and bookings for transportation, lodging, travel experiences and restaurants.
Ayla, one of the region’s largest urban development projects, has added 17km to Aqaba’s coastline.
The resort features tourism, residential, commercial, sports and entertainment facilities, with 1500 multi-class hotel rooms, lagoons, beach clubs and an 18-hole golf course designed by Greg Norman, with facilities including a nine-hole training academy, according to the statement.
The resort also has a, 3,000 housing units, 300 piers and yacht marinas, and 20,000 square metres of retail facilities that include shops, restaurants, cafes and hospitality services at the Marina Village, the statement said.
