Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh on Thursday visited the Public Security Directorate’s Operation and Control Department as well as the Greater Amman Municipality’s emergency centre.
During the tour aimed at tracking the related bodies’ response to the prevailing weather conditions, the premier commended the exerted efforts, mainly the integrated work spaces that led to provide rapid response to meet citizens’ needs, notably rescuing those stranded in closed roads as well as opening primary and secondary roads and transferring patients to hospitals.
"We are all one team in enforcing the Royal directives towards serving the citizens, maintaining public health and safety, and meeting their needs under all circumstances,” the Jordan News Agency, Petra, quoted him as saying.
He also expressed appreciation of the efforts of the armed forces, security agencies, ministries, including the interior ministry, administrative governors, local administration, municipalities, public works and housing, as well as water and irrigation. He also lauded citizens’ volunteering efforts, notably the Jordan 4x4 Club.
