Cold weather conditions are forecast to prevail on Tuesday and Wednesday in most parts of the country, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be fair, with low clouds and southwesterly moderate winds, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Toward Wednesday night, the Kingdom will be affected by a cold and wet air mass, pushing temperatures down and bringing very cold and cloudy weather with spotty showers in the northern and central regions stretching to cover the western areas, accompanied by thunder and hail at times, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, the JMD said.
On Thursday, the country will remain under the impact of the cold and humid front, as mercury will further dip, making chilly and partly cloudy conditions along with intermittent rain with thunder storms and hail over the western areas and limited parts of the eastern regions.
