The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) closed Thursday's trading session up by 1.1 percent at 1,752 points. A total of 5.5 million shares were traded through 2,541 transactions at a trading value of JD6.2 million.

The closing prices of 48 companies with traded shares went up, while 14 others declined. The prices of the shares of 25 others remained unchanged.
