The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) forecast that temperatures will rise few degrees on Wednesday, becoming around annual average and bringing pleasant and spring-like weather in the highlands and the plains, and warm conditions in other regions, with southeasterly moderate winds.
On Thursday, a further increase in mercury levels is expected, making moderate weather in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom, with southeasterly to northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust in the Badia, the JMD said.
Friday is predicted to bring in similar weather conditions, with northeasterly to northwesterly active winds at times, the department added.
Temperatures in Amman today will reach a high of 23 degrees Celsius, dropping to 10C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a high of 30C, dipping to 18C during night hours.
