The Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) on Thursday provided the Ministry of Health with a donation of JD256,000 to support the COVID-19 vaccination campaigns across the Kingdom.
The society, in a statement, said that the donation is part of the "chronic diseases amid the coronavirus pandemic” programme, which is implemented in cooperation with the World Diabetes Foundation and funded by Novo Nordisk, a leading global healthcare company.
Health Minister Feras Al Hawari expressed his appreciation of the RHAS’ support for the ministry during the pandemic, notably their support for the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The RHAS, one of Her Majesty Queen Rania’s initiatives, aims to raise health awareness and encourage healthy practices in local communities.
