Nayrouz News Agency :
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Sunday visited the Great Arab Revolt Secondary Schools and Al Hussein Secondary Schools for Girls, affiliated with the Directorate of Military Education and Culture.

Huneiti was briefed on the educational, administrative and technical preparations for the students’ return to schools, especially the Academic Loss Compensation Programme launched by the Ministry of Education.

The programme aims to compensate students for the lessons they missed during the pandemic.

The army chief called for adherence to the health protocols to preserve the health and safety of students and teachers. The chief also stressed the importance of the vaccination to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

Meeting with a number of students, educational and administrative staff, Huneiti conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah.

He praised the directorate’s pioneering role in educating and qualifying its students and engaging with the local community through its development programmes in all the Kingdom’s governorates.

The Directorate of Military Education and Culture provides educational services to approximately 21,345 male and female students, through 46 military schools spread across the Kingdom.
