PM: JordanianSyrian meetings should translate into projects
Nayrouz News Agency :

Prime Minster Bisher Khasawneh on Tuesday stressed that recent meetings between Jordanian and Syrian officials in Amman and Damascus should be "translated into projects that benefit the two brotherly peoples and cement a historical brotherhood bonding the two countries."

The prime minister made the remarks as he welcomed a ministerial Syrian delegation comprising the ministers of economy and foreign trade, water resources, agriculture and electricity, who held a series of meetings with their Jordanian counterparts over the course of two days.

Khasawneh and the Syrian officials explored prospects for expediting the supply of Egyptian natural gas to Lebanon through Jordan and Syria after rehabilitating the decrepit electric grid in Syria.

The Syrian delegation reviewed the outcome of discussions with the Jordanian ministers in the areas of transport, intra-trade, water, agriculture and energy, noting that the Syrian people are satisfied over the return of visits and restoration of relations between the two brotherly countries.
