Prime Minister, Bisher Khasawneh, arrived Wednesday evening in Beirut on an official visit to Lebanon, during which he will meet with President Michel Aoun, Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.
The Prime Minister was received at Rafic Hariri International Airport by Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati, a number of officials, and Jordan's ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Hadid, and embassy staff.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will discuss bilateral ties and ways to enhance joint cooperation in all fields.
Khasawneh's discussions with senior Lebanese officials will also focus on ways to enhance cooperation in fields of energy and expedite the delivery of Egyptian gas and electricity to Lebanon through Jordan and Syria.
The Premier is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Maha Ali, Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs, Ibrahim Al-Jazi, and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Hala Zawati.
