President of the World Islamic Sciences and Education University (WISE) Muhammad Khalayleh on Thursday discussed with Sudanese Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments Nassr Al-Din Ahmad ways to boost bilateral cooperation.
A statement by the WISE said that Khalayleh highlighted the strong Jordanian- Sudanese relations, stressing the university's keen interest in maintaining communication with the countries of the Islamic world in order to attract foreign students.
Khalayleh also affirmed that the university is ready to provide its expertise in partnership with the Sudanese Ministry of Islamic Affairs, pointing to the WISE's role in rejecting extremism and creating a moderate religious rhetoric.
For his part, Ahmed praised the "huge" efforts made by the university to serve Islam's moderate and tolerant message, underscoring the importance of further enhancing cooperation between the two sides.
