The Jordanian pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020 kicked off with a wide participation of Jordanian, Arab and foreign officials, in addition to Jordanian and Arab community members.
In Dubai, Commissioner General of the Jordanian Pavilion in Expo 2020, Abdul Fattah Al Kayed on Friday on the sidelines of the global gathering, told Petra that the great momentum witnessed on the first day of the opening of the Jordanian pavilion reflects the kingdom's emergence in the technical, economic and tourism aspects.
The focus at the pavilion, Al Kayed stressed, was on displaying the creativity of Jordanian youth, and the technical equipment of the pavilion was made by Jordanian young men and women.
The six-month, multibillion-dollar global innovation fair, set to be the largest event ever staged in the Arab world, was expected to attract some 24 million visitors starting October 20 this year.
Dubai Expo 2020 will be held from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022 and 195 countries are expected to participate.
