During the meeting with Iraqi envoy, Dughmi affirmed Jordan's keenness, under His Majesty King Abdullah II's leadership, to achieve Iraq's security, stability and protect its sovereignty, stressing the importance of building on outcomes of the tripartite Jordanian-Iraqi-Egyptian summits.

Jordan, he said, believes that Iraq's stability and its territorial integrity push "the nation's resilience and strength," stressing the importance of supporting Iraq's efforts in combating terrorism and extremism to restore its stability and assume its role at the Arab arena.
