President of the Senate Faisal al-Fayez on Monday conveyed a letter from His Majesty King Abdullah II to King Mohammed VI of Morocco, focusing on Jordanian-Moroccan relations and prospects of cementing cooperation.
Al-Fayez handed the letter to the President of the Moroccan House of Councilors (the upper house of the Parliament of Morocco), Al Naam Miyara, according to a statement by the Senate.
In the letter, "King Abdullah II commended the great efforts of King Mohammed VI to realize the Moroccan people's aspirations for progress and prosperity." King Abdullah reaffirmed that he "is keen on cementing the brotherly relations between the two countries and strengthening ongoing cooperation and building on it in all fields."
His Majesty also stressed that he is committed to "maintaining coordination and consultation between the two brotherly countries on various issues of common interest, in a way that achieves their interests and serves pan-Arab and Muslim issues."
