The Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) on Sunday launched a media campaign to combat nepotism and favoritism (wasta), targeting all state institutions and society.
In a press release, the authority said the three-month campaign, titled "Enough with Nepotism and Favoritism", also aims to sensitize the public about the dangers of nepotism as improper behavior affecting societal security.
The authority said that it hopes that ministries, public departments, civil society organizations and the media will support this campaign through dialogues and meetings that enhance awareness of national integrity standards and the importance of addressing nepotism and wasta.
