Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Mohammad Khalailah warned of continued threats, by Israeli extremists, aiming at storming Al-Aqsa Mosque / Haram Al Sharif compound.

In a statement on Wednesday, the minister considered such threats a provocation of the feelings of Muslims around the world, adding that such practices by the Israeli occupation authority will drag the Middle East region into wars and conflicts that have dangerous impacts.

Al Aqsa Mosque / Haram Al Sharif compound is a place of worship for Muslims only and protected by a Hashemite Custodianship, Khalailah stressed.
