PM follows up firsthand on Aqaba explosion

Minister, Bisher Khasawneh arrived in Aqaba Monday evening to follow up firsthand on efforts to deal with the repercussions of the explosion accident of a gas tank in the Aqaba port earlier today.

The Prime Minister, accompanied by Ministers of Interior and Health, ckecked on on conditions of the blast-wounded who were evacuated to Prince Hashem Military Hospital and other hospitals in the city.


Khasawneh expressed his deepest condolences and sympathy to victims' families and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.


Khasawneh chaired a meeting in the Aqaba Governorate's operations room, in the presence of Ministers of Interior and Health, and officials in Aqaba, to examine circumstances of the explosion and efforts to deal with it.
