Zain, in cooperation with the Vocational Training Corporation and Wadi Al-Seer Training College (UNRWA), launched the third free training course this year for the maintenance of cellular devices, in the six Zain centers spread in the governorates of Irbid, Zarqa, Karak, Tafileh, Balqa and the capital, Amman.
According to a company statement, today, Saturday, Zain’s launch of free training courses on the maintenance of cellular devices - one of Zain’s sustainable initiatives - comes as a commitment to support young people’s access to sustainable and decent jobs, and to develop their competencies and experiences, to enhance their involvement and integration in the labor market to facilitate their participation in building society, the matter Which contributes to promoting economic development and improving the standard of living for graduates of these courses.
During the courses, the trainees receive theoretical and practical training that lasts for 3 months at the hands of experts and specialists in the field of cell phone maintenance. At the end of the course, they obtain certificates to practice this profession after their graduation.
During the past year, Zain graduated 150 young men and women from all its centers in the institutes of the Vocational Training Corporation, in addition to its center located at the Wadi Al-Seer Training College (UNRWA). While the Zain centers' courses are inclusive and comprehensive, including males and females, in addition to persons with disabilities.
The total number of graduates of Zain centers since the start of this initiative until today has reached 1640 young men and women, with an employment rate of 80 percent for males and 60 percent for females, according to the Vocational Training Corporation. Or by creating their own projects.
