Amman, December 22 A royal decree was issued today, Thursday, approving an amendment to Dr. Bishr Hani Al-Khasawneh’s government. The text of the decree follows:
We, Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, pursuant to Article 35 of the Constitution, and upon the recommendation of the Prime Minister, order the following:
His Excellency Mr. Makram Mustafa Abdul Karim Al-Qaisi is appointed Minister of Tourism and Antiquities.
It was issued by our palace, Raghadan Al-Amer, on the 28th of Jumada Al-Awwal of the year 1444 AH, corresponding to the 22nd of December of the year 2022 AD.
Minister Al-Qaisi took the constitutional oath before His Majesty the King, at Al-Husseiniya Palace.
The swearing-in was attended by Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh, and the head of the Royal Hashemite Court, Youssef Hassan Al-Issawy.
A royal decree was issued approving the acceptance of the resignation of His Excellency Mr. Nayef Hamidi Muhammad Al-Fayez, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, from his position as of 12/22/2022.
