The Director of the Public Security Directorate (PSD), Major General Obaidullah Maaytah, and the Mayor of Amman, Yousef Shawarbeh, discussed Wednesday in Amman cooperation to improve infrastructure and traffic safety.

Maaytah and Shawarbeh discussed the partnership and the efforts made in integrating public service between the PSD and the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM).

Maaytah noted the role of GAM in preparing to take appropriate measures to ensure traffic and environmental safety and regulate the movement of transport and the infrastructure.

Shawarbeh said GAM supports and assists the PSD to offer "distinguished services to citizens, developing solutions to improve traffic conditions and enhancing a safe environment for citizens and residents."
