Anticipating low pressure#44; rain following Monday’s moderate conditions
Nayrouz News Agency :

The weather forecast for Monday expects moderate temperatures with sporadic cloud cover, potentially ushering in light rain showers primarily in the northern and some central areas during the morning hours, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

As midday approaches, the precipitation is anticipated to extend southwards, encompassing limited parts of the east, occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms.

On Tuesday, a shift as a low-pressure system is expected to extend over Cyprus, influencing Jordan with a noticeable temperature drop. Therefore, relatively cold weather will prevail, transitioning from partly cloudy to occasionally overcast skies. Intermittent heavy rainfall is also forecast in the north and central regions, including the Dead Sea area, where thunderstorms and hail might accompany the showers. Gradually, the precipitation will expand to encompass segments of the southern and eastern regions, coupled with moderate northwest winds that could intermittently intensify.

Wednesday will maintain the trend of fluctuating weather, with the chance of light rainfall in various parts of the kingdom, presenting a blend of partly cloudy to occasionally overcast conditions. The evening and night hours are projected to bring about more stable weather, with diminishing cloud cover. Fog formation is foreseen over the elevated mountainous regions, while moderate northwest winds may gain strength.

Today’s peak temperatures will be between 25 and 23 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 17 or even 15C in the southern highlands at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have sweltering weather, with highs of 32C and lows of 21C.
