Nayrouz News Agency : Relatively hot weather is predicted to prevail over the highlands and plains, while it will be hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its forecast for Sunday and Monday.
Some low-altitude clouds are expected to appear, with northwesterly moderate to active winds.
The weather forecast for Tuesday indicated that temperatures will remain relatively high in the highlands and plains, and hot in the desert areas, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Northwesterly winds are expected to be moderate, occasionally brisk.
Mercury levels will slightly rise on Wednesday, bringing sweltering conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, while relatively hot weather will persist in the mountainous areas and plains.
Today’s temperature forecasts are as follows: eastern Amman 34 C – 22 C, western Amman 32 C – 20 C, northern highlands 30 C – 19C, Sharah highlands 31 C – 18 C, and Gulf of Aqaba 42 C – 29 C.
