وقع وزير التخطيط والتعاون الدولي السيد ناصر الشريدة و مدير مكتب بنك الاعمار الالماني الدكتور مارك شفيتيه يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 24 تشرين الثاني 2020 في عمان اتفاقيتين لمنحتين ممولتين من جمهورية ألمانيا الاتحادية بمبلغ إجمالي مقداره (77.5) مليون يورو.

تتضمن الاتفاقية الأولى و التي وقّعت أيضاً من قبل السيد عمر المشاقبة مدير عام صندوق المعونة الوطنية على منحة طارئة بقيمة (50) مليون يورو، و تهدف هذه المساهمة إلى دعم الحماية الاجتماعية و الوقاية من الفقر الناتج عن أزمة كورونا، حيث سيصرف مبلغ المنحة على دفعة واحدة قبل نهاية هذا العام لحساب صندوق المعونة الوطنية للمساهمة في تمويل المرحلة الثالثة من برنامج تكافل والذي يهدف الى دعم 100 ألف أسرة فقيرة خلال عام 2021.

تتضمن الاتفاقية الثانية منحة مقدارها (27.5) مليون يورو لتمويل مشروع رواتب المعلمين لدعم تسريع حصول أطفال اللاجئين السوريين على التعليم الرسمي للعام الدراسي 2020/2021 وهو إحدى مشاريع خطة الاستجابة الأردنية للأزمة السورية، حيث تهدف المنحة الى تمويل رواتب المعلمين والاداريين الاضافيين العاملين في الفترات المسائية في مدارس وزارة التربية التعليم.

H.E. Nasser Shraideh, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, and Mr. Mark Schwiete, Director of the KfW Development Bank Jordan office, signed on Tuesday, 24 November 2020, two grant agreements funded by the Federal Republic of Germany summing up to 77.5 million Euros altogether.

The first agreement, which was also signed by Mr. Omar Mashaqbeh, General Director of the National Aid Fund (NAF), consists of emergency assistance for the amount of 50 million Euros. This contribution aims at supporting social protection to prevent poverty caused by the Covid-19 crisis. This grant will be disbursed before the end of the year to the National Aid Fund as a contribution to the third phase of the Takaful programme supporting 100,000 poor households throughout the year 2021. 

The second agreement includes a grant of 27.5 million euros to fund teachers’ salaries for the academic year 2020/2021, which is one of the projects under the Jordan Response Plan (JRP). This grant aims at financing the salaries of the additional teachers and administrative staff working in afternoon shifts at the schools of the Ministry of Education.
