  And the opening ceremony of the festival, which comes as part of the Kingdom’s celebrations of the centenary of the founding of the Jordanian state, and was sponsored by the representative of the Minister of Culture Haifa Al-Najjar, the Secretary-General of the Ministry, writer Hazza Al-Barari, began with a visual display on the screen in the conference hall of the center.  The late founding King of Ma'an to this day, highlighting the role of the Hashemite leadership that established from the beginning a modern state that accompanied development in various sectors and fields.
  The visual presentation at the opening ceremony, which hosts the Secretary-General of the Arab Theater Authority, playwright Ismail Abdullah and a number of the most prominent Arab playwrights, critics, writers and media professionals, presented pictures and scenes about the modern history of the Jordanian theater, which began its documented early days in 1918, and many scenes of theatrical performances that accompanied the emergence of the theatrical movement.  The Jordanian theater since the middle of the twentieth century until the beginning of the first millennium, reviewing a number of the first pioneers of Jordanian theater artists and their creativity in those theatrical works.
  In the ceremony presented by the artists Muhammad Al-Ibrahimi and Nadera Omran, the writer Al-Barari, in the presence of the President of the Jordanian Artists Syndicate Hussein Al-Khatib and the Director of the Directorate of Theater and Visual Arts, director Abdul Karim Al-Jarrah, presented two honorary shields to the honored figures of the festival, the artists Abdullatif Shamma and Habis Hussein, accompanied by two visual presentations of their creative achievement throughout their artistic and creative career.  Their literary text colleague Ibrahim Al-Sawair.
  The writer Al Barari said in a speech that followed the honoring, that Amman is proud today of these stars of Jordanian playwrights and the Arab brothers, Amman, which has always embraced its brothers and friends, and creators who carry the message of beauty and human values.  theater since ancient times.
  He added, "This festival returns with its Arab rhythm after the Corona pandemic, so that we can jointly launch beauty and creativity, for you are the makers of this beauty, and therefore you are the makers of life."
  This was followed by a lyrical artistic show presented by the Nagham choir and orchestra, consisting of a choir of 20 artists and 18 musicians led by the artist Mustafa Shashaa, which began with a song from the Jordanian folk lyrical heritage, "Oh, welcome to our visitors on the day we go to our homes” followed by the national song "I am Jordan” by the artist Ismail Khader and words  The poet Suleiman Al-Mashini arranged a new and distinguished music.  To welcome the Arab participants, the choir presented songs from the well-known lyrical heritage;  The Tunisian song "You are what we know” and the Iraqi song "The Night is Sweet and Beautiful” and the Kuwaiti "Ya Hali is enough to blame and blame,” which was sung by the late artist Abdel Halim Hafez in the sixties of the last century in Kuwait, composed by Kuwaiti artist Abdel Hamid Al-Sayed and the words of Kuwaiti poet Walid Jaafar, who continued his military training in Jordan  .  She also presented one of the muwashahat "Miniti Ezz Astbari" from the songs of the great artist Sayed Darwish, to conclude their exceptional concert with a song from the national lyrical heritage "Jordan Ya Habibi", the beginning of which is "At the peaks of the fertile, green Jordan, full of perfume", the words of the great poet Haider Mahmoud and sung by the Lebanese artist Muhammad  Jamal in 1964. This was followed by the first theatrical performances from Jordan, "The Birds of Ababil", directed by Dr. Firas Al-Raymouni and the text of Iyad Al-Raymouni, which dealt with the heroism of the Jordanian Air Force's hawks, the martyrs Muwaffaq Al-Salti, Firas Al-Ajlouni and Moaz Al-Kasasbeh.
  He participates in theatrical performances of the 11-day festival;  From Iraq the play "Home / Home” directed by Ghanem Hamid, from Syria "The Handkerchiefs” directed by Bassam Hamidi, and from Tunisia "Al-Rouyah” directed by Hammadi Al-Wahaibi, from the Emirates "The Night the Spider was Killed” directed by Ilham Ghuloom, and from Jordan the plays "boxes” directed by Ismat Farouk  Boxes directed by Abdul Samad Al-Basoul, "The Eternal Spirit” directed by Karam Al-Zawahra, "You Will Wash, O Jordan River” directed by Hakim Harb, "Happened in Heaven” directed by Zaid Khalil Mustafa, and "Madraqa” directed by Omar Al-Damour.
  The festival also includes commentary symposia on the performances and an intellectual symposium entitled "Post-Drama Theatre" with the participation of Dr. Abdul Majeed Ahri and Dr. Abdul Wahed bin Yasser from Morocco, Dr. Fadel Al-Jaf and Dr. Yasser Al-Barrak from Iraq, Dr. Faisal Al-Qahtani from Kuwait and Dr. Adnan Mashaqbeh from Jordan, in addition to  to two art workshops;  "Animating Puppets" is presented by Dr. Karim Dakrob from Lebanon, and "Directional Techniques and Actor Management" is presented by director Hisham Chakib from Morocco.
  The festival will also host 31 Arab academics, critics, theater artists and media professionals from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Kuwait, Iraq, Lebanon, Morocco, Egypt, Syria, Oman, Bahrain and Sudan.
