Over the past hours, Lebanese army soldier and five civilians were martyred in Israeli aircraft raids that targeted several areas in Lebanon.

"An Israeli enemy drone targeted an army vehicle on Borj al-Moulouk-Qalyaa road in the south, causing the martyrdom of a soldier and the injury of others” Lebanese National News Agency quoted Lebanese army as saying in a statement, adding that five people were also martyred in other raids on two towns.

Meanwhile, the enemy warplanes carried out a series of aerial raids accompanied by heavy phosphorous and artillery shelling, targeting several towns.

A heavy artillery shelling targeted al- Khiyam and Marjeyoun district over the night, while aircraft launched thermal balloons and illuminating bombs over the eastern area of the south.
