On March 8, 2025, Mall of UAQ honored International Women's Day by hosting its "Women of Excellence” program, celebrating accomplished women from diverse fields. The event was distinguished by the presence of the chief guest, Shiekh Humaid Bin Abdallah Almualla, whose participation added a prestigious touch to the celebration.

Inspiring Speeches and Empowering Messages
The program featured compelling speeches from notable figures. Mrs. Aysha Abdul Rahman shared insights on how women are leading the way in business, highlighting their strength and innovative spirit. Mrs. Aida Abdul Hammed , on the other hand, spoke passionately about the perseverance that defines every woman, emphasizing the importance of resilience and determination. As one speaker aptly put it, "When women support each other, incredible things happen.”

The ceremony was expertly curated by renowned media personality Mira Ali, Editor-in-Chief of Media Critic magazine. It was organized by Dr. Mahdi Al-Amin, a distinguished member of the event’s organizing committee, and attended by prominent figures from the media, art, and cultural communities.
