Nayrouz News Agency : The Director General of the Social Security Corporation, Dr. Hazem Al-Rahahleh, said that the Corporation was and still is in partnership and coordination with the industrial and commercial sectors to help it sustain its business and protect its workers through the many programs it provided to help it during the Corona pandemic.
 This came during a dialogue organized by the Jordan Chamber of Industry, today, Thursday, about the programs of the Social Security Corporation during the Corona pandemic crisis and its most prominent developments, in the presence of the president and members of the Amman and Jordan Chambers of Industry and representatives of various industrial sectors.
 During the dialogue, the problems that faced the industrial sector as a result of the Corona crisis were reviewed, the programs that the institution developed during the pandemic for the affected facilities, the mechanisms for their application and benefit, and the problems they encountered regarding them, presenting some proposals and solutions to the Warranty Institution regarding defense orders programs that benefit the industrial sector for consideration and possibility of application.
 Al-Rahahleh stressed that the Corporation provided social protection for workers and employers within its programs implemented during defense orders issued by the Prime Ministry, which contributed to perpetuating the wheel of the national economy, and made great efforts during the Corona pandemic, based on its national role, and stood with the industrial, commercial and service sectors to overcome the damages caused hit the economic sectors.
 And he indicated that the Prime Minister's statement No. 52 of 2021 included the extension of the work of the basic sustainability program and the amended sustainability program, until the end of June of this year, for the facilities benefiting from these two programs, noting that the number of facilities benefiting from the sustainability and amended program reached 2,400 facilities in which it works. More than 41 thousand workers.
 Al-Rahahla emphasized that the mandatory inclusion of workers in social security is to protect the worker and that social security’s role is not limited to early retirement and old age salaries, but there is a system of other insurances to protect workers in the event of their disability or exposure to work injuries that lead to their disability or death.
 For his part, the head of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Eng. Fathi Al-Jaghbir, stressed the importance of the role played by the Insurance Corporation at various humanitarian, social and economic levels, praising its role during the Corona pandemic and the various programs it launched to serve the workforce, facilities and society in general, which created forces of economic balance. And socially to preserve the workforce and the sustainability of enterprises.
 Eng. Jaghbir indicated that the Chambers of Industry are in contact and dialogue with the Insurance Corporation regarding the programs and mechanisms implemented by the Corporation and to overcome the difficulties faced by this sector to benefit from them.
