Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Al-Safadi, discussed, during a phone call he received, today, Saturday, from Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, the repercussions of the attack launched by the Houthi militia on the Radhum and Al-Daba oil ports.
Dr. Mubarak Al-Safadi described the developments of the situation in the sisterly Republic of Yemen and the repercussions of the Houthi attack, which represents a clear violation of international resolutions and efforts aimed at reducing escalation and reaching an agreement to end the Yemeni crisis and achieve security and stability.
Safadi condemned the Houthi attack, which undermines efforts to resolve the Yemeni crisis and restore security and stability.
He stressed the need to renew the armistice, which mitigated the repercussions of the crisis on the brotherly Yemeni people, and the Houthis' response to the efforts made to reach a political solution to the crisis in accordance with United Nations resolutions and approved references.
Al-Safadi praised the positions of the legitimate Yemeni government and its measures to achieve peace in brotherly Yemen.
He stressed that the Kingdom will continue to stand with the brotherly Yemeni people, support the legitimate government, and support its positions and efforts to resolve the crisis, in order to enjoy security, stability and development, and in a manner that guarantees the security of Yemen and the security of the brothers in the Arab Gulf.
