The inaugural training sessions at the Real Madrid Spanish Club's talent scouting camp, currently underway in Amman, have revealed a pool of young Jordanian talents. These promising individuals could potentially earn the chance to be part of the Spanish club's academy.
The training camp, which commenced earlier this week at the Dunes Club, has seen the active participation of 170 talents. The sessions have been meticulously designed under the guidance of three highly skilled Spanish coaches, with the assistance of four Jordanian coaches to ensure a comprehensive training experience that adheres to international standards.
Walid Alfi, the representative of the Real Madrid Academy in the Middle East, commented on the encouraging start to the training initiative, noting that the initial exercises have unveiled a cohort of Jordanian talents that hold the potential to shape the landscape of football in the future.
Addressing certain misconceptions, Alfi expressed that there exists some confusion regarding the operational mechanics of the academy and its objectives in Amman. This has led to uncertainty among parents of aspiring players who have sought clarity on the particulars of the program.
Clarifying the process, he emphasized that the present training in Amman is being overseen by the Real Madrid Foundation. Talents discovered during the two-week training camp in Amman would progress to the Real Madrid Academy. From there, those who excel could potentially find a place in the Real Madrid Club's first team or be offered opportunities for marketing and transfers.
Alfi underlined, "The journey unfolds through the Real Madrid Foundation, whereby identified talents, upon qualification, advance to the phase of integration into the club's academy. Subsequently, the third stage prepares these players for first-team training or potential marketing."
As the training program progresses, it is anticipated that the forthcoming stages will reveal further layers of talent and potential, shedding light on the dynamic and evolving landscape of football's future prospects within the Jordanian context.
