Some 1,297 COVID-19 cases were recorded in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Wednesday, pushing the caseload to 162,662, the UAE Ministry of Health said.

The ministry said that four people passed away from the virus within the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 563, while 783 patients have recovered, raising the total number of recoveries to 151,044.
