Nayrouz News Agency : The prices of oil derivatives in the global markets decreased in the first week of the current month of October, compared to their average prices last September, according to data announced by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources today, Monday. According to the data, gasoline octane 90 recorded a price of $769.9 per ton, compared to its average price last month, which amounted to $798.9, a decrease of 3.6 percent. The price of octane 95 gasoline was $799.6 per ton, compared to $837.3 per ton recorded last September, with a decrease of 4.5 percent. The price of kerosene decreased from $1017.3 per ton to $1013.3 per ton, a decrease of 0.4 percent, and the price of kerosene fuel oil decreased from $384.6 per ton to $374.6 per ton, a decrease of 2.6 percent. The price of liquefied petroleum gas also decreased from 635 dollars per ton last September to 567.5 dollars per ton in the current October, a decrease of 10.6 percent. On the other hand, the price of diesel rose from $968.8 per ton to $1044.2 per ton, an increase of 7.8 percent. The average price of Brent crude increased in the first week of this month, which amounted to $94.8 per barrel, compared to the average price of last September, which amounted to $90 per barrel, with an increase of 5.4 percent.
