The only power plant in the Gaza Strip ceased operation on Wednesday as it ran out of fuel after Israel's decision to cut off fuel and electricity supply to the Strip.

Palestinian sources said the consequences of this complete power outage could lead to a severe humanitarian and health crisis in the area.
