Nayrouz News Agency : The Arab Parliament called for tightening international control over illegal arms transfer routes, so that they do not fall into the hands of smuggling groups or terrorist organizations.
 During its participation in the meeting of the Committee on International Peace and Security of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in the Spanish capital, Madrid, Parliament stressed that the Arab Parliament attaches great importance to the problem of the illicit transfer of arms, especially in light of the conflicts and crises that some Arab countries are witnessing, which represents a stimulating environment for the exacerbation of this problem in The Arab region, through the increasing rates of smuggling and purchasing of light and small arms, which have become a major obstacle to the processes of achieving security and stability.
