Nayrouz News Agency :
Six Jordanian female researchers from the University of Jordan have passed the final stage of the "ProGRANT" program, which is supported by the German Academic Exchange Agency, which is a training program consisting of 4 stages and spanning 8 months.
The University of Jordan clarified in a statement today, Sunday, that the participation of the researchers came in implementation of the university's plan to support researchers, develop their skills, enable them to attract external support for their research projects and network with researchers in international research institutions.
The researchers participating in the program were able to train in submitting applications for external support for scientific research, and on the mechanism of arbitration of these applications in a scientific and systematic way. The foreign researcher, Tamara Al-Qudah from the Hamdi Mango Center, Dr. Doaa Al-Wawi and Dr. Majd Jarrar from the College of Rehabilitation Sciences, and Dr. Ramal Musa and Dr. Iman Hammad from the College of Pharmacy.
According to the statement, the researchers obtained training certificates approved by the German team, in addition to gaining practical experience and skills. This participation resulted in 6 requests for research projects that can be submitted to international support bodies.
It is noteworthy that the Deanship of Scientific Research at the University of Jordan and the external projects team were attributed to faculty members and researchers to register participants in this training program and secure them with all requirements, and the university also covered the cost of the training.
The Deanship of Scientific Research will hold training programs on how to prepare proposals for research grants, and the graduates of this program will be used to supervise this training as part of a plan aimed at increasing the chances of faculty members obtaining external support for their research projects.
