Four people were injured, one of them seriously, in an Israeli airstrike on Markaba town in southern Lebanon, the Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced.
In addition, the Lebanese Civil Defense team survived after the enemy deliberately attempted to target it with artillery while it was working to extinguish a fire that broke out in al-Hajja area between the towns of Alma al-Shaab and al-Dhahira.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported: While the civil defense teams were heading to extinguish the fire that broke out between Alma al-Shaab and al-Dhahira as a result of an Israeli missile falling in the forests of the area, the enemy’s artillery targeted the place with a number of shells, and divine providence prevented any casualties among the civil defense team.
Two people were killed yesterday as a result of an Israeli air strike on a car in the town of Naqoua in southern Lebanon.
