The Russian Foreign Ministry warned of increasing NATO provocative activity on Belarusian borders, expressing Russia’s concern about this.
The ministry’s spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement: "Moscow pays due attention to the information received about the situation of Ukrainian forces in the border area of our ally Belarus, and is aware of the ongoing provocations using drones.”
Zakharova reminded Western countries that the military doctrine of the Union State between Russia and Belarus stipulates joint defense using all forces and means.
She stressed that "Kiev’s hostile steps force the Belarusian side to use the armed forces to carry out tasks of ensuring the security of the republic’s territory and its citizens.”
Zakharova affirmed that "the practical implementation of any aggressive scenarios against Belarus is fraught with dire consequences not only for Nazi Ukraine but also for its sponsors.”.
