Nayrouz News Agency :

The Acting Speaker of Iraqi Representatives Council, Mr. Mohsen al-Mandalawi, condemned the repeated violent Israeli attacks committed against Lebanese people.

"Iraq slammed the Israeli ongoing brutal aggression that targeted Lebanese residential areas, which caused the martyrdom of hundreds of children, women and elderly people, in addition to the injury of thousands of innocent people,” Iraqi News Agency(INA) quoted al-Mandalawi as saying in a statement.

Al- Mandalawi called on international community not to use double standards policy regarding the clear violations of international law, and to put an end to the Israeli ongoing aggression committed against countries which may destabilize the security of the whole region.

He underlined the necessity of holding an urgent Islamic summit to confront the dangers facing the Islamic peoples.
