media office in GAZA warned on Friday that the situation in Kamal Adwan Hospital of northern Gaza Strip has reached a "catastrophic” level, with many children’s lives in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at risk in the coming hours.

The media office said in a statement that the situation in Kamal Adwan Hospital has become catastrophic and the coming hours will be decisive for the lives of many children in the intensive care unit due to the depletion of fuel and the occupation preventing its arrival to hospitals in northern Gaza Strip, which threatens to put them out of service, deepens the humanitarian and health catastrophe and threatens the lives of more than 400,000 Palestinians.

The office held the US administration and its partners in genocide fully responsible for these ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people.

In a related context, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, warned of the lack of health services in the northern Gaza Strip, saying: "There are almost no health services left in the northern Gaza Strip, as "Israel” continues to prevent relief missions from reaching the area, calling on the occupation authorities to stop forced displacement orders and not to attack hospitals.
