Russian President Vladimir Putin, who met with his counterpart from the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, described the situation in the middle east as very complicated and suggested that they discuss it.
Putin said during his hosting of his Emirati counterpart in Moscow: "The situation in the Middle East is very difficult,” noting the UAE’s stances and participation in resolving humanitarian issues, particularly, those related to the exchange of prisoners between Russia and the Ukrainian regime.
The Russian President underlined that the volume of trade exchange between Russia and the UAE has tripled over the past three years, stressing that relations rise to the level of strategic partnership.
In turn, Bin Zayed said: "My visit to Russia is great evidence that we have a lot ahead of us in the future, especially since we cooperate in various sectors and hope to develop and strengthen our relations.”
