Russian air defense systems overnight shot down 50 Ukrainian drones over seven Russian provinces

"An attempt by Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted overnight, as air defense systems destroyed 50 Ukrainian drones,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement on Saturday, adding that, adding that 28 drones were shot down over the Bryansk region, 12 over the Kursk region, 4 over the Novgorod region, 2 over the Smolensk region, 2 over the Tula region, and one each over the Oryol and Tver regions.

Russian forces continue to carry out their special military operation to protect the population of the Donbas region, who have been persecuted by the Kiev regime for 8 years, and to eliminate threats to Russia’s security from Ukraine.
