Sputnik quoted the ministry as saying in a statement on Wednesday that "last night an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using drones on targets in Russian territory was thwarted”.

The air defense systems on duty destroyed 29 drones, 7 of which were over the territory of Kursk Region, 7 over the territory of Belgorod Region, 5 over the territory of Tver Region, 5 other over Bryansk territory, 3 over Penza Region, and 2 over the territory of Voronezh Region, the ministry added.

It is noteworthy, the Kiev regime continues to attack by using drones and artillery shelling against civilians and civilian facilities in Russia, causing civilian casualties.
