China calls on Israeli occupation to lift restrictions on humanitarian aid access to Gaza
Nayrouz News Agency :

China called on the Israeli occupation to lift the restrictions imposed on the access of humanitarian aid to Gaza and to stop using this aid as a "bargaining chip” as the already dire humanitarian situation there is rapidly deteriorating.

Xinhua quoted China’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Fu Cong as saying in a speech at UN Security Council on the issue of food security in Gaza that "humanitarian issues cannot be politicized and hunger cannot be used as a weapon,” stressing that this is "the basic minimum of international humanitarian law”.

"Israel is restricting the arrival of humanitarian aid on the one hand and accusing the UN and humanitarian agencies of negligence on the other hand, and this is unacceptable, "Fu Cong added.

Fu Cong called on "Israel” to fully cooperate with the UN and other humanitarian agencies.
