COVID-19 killed 817 people in Russia in the last 24 hours, as the death toll surpasses 200,000, according to Russia's COVID response centre.

The Russian Center for Coronavirus Control Wednesday said 19,700 people tested positive for the highly contagious disease, taking the caseload to some 7.33 million.
