His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, visited today, Saturday, the Jordanian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, where he was received upon his arrival at the Jordanian pavilion by Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh.
The Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, was accompanied on a tour of the Jordanian pavilion, and was briefed on its components and the presentations, programs and events it contains.
The Prime Minister, in the presence of Minister of State for Prime Minister Affairs Ibrahim Al-Jazi and Jordanian Ambassador to the UAE Nassar Al-Habashneh, confirmed that the Jordanian pavilion, entitled "Thresholds of the Future", was designed to reflect Jordanian achievements in many economic and social sectors.
Al-Khasawneh also stressed the importance of the Dubai Expo in strengthening cooperation and partnerships, congratulating the United Arab Emirates on its success in hosting this important international event.
In a related development, Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh met today with the Jordanian men and women in charge of the pavilion, at the Jordanian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
The Prime Minister urged those in charge of the pavilion to reflect the true image of our homeland and the achievements it is achieving in various fields.
Al-Khasawneh stressed that Jordan is distinguished by its human cadres and by its pioneering and creative youth who are the focus of trust and attention of His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Highness Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, pointing out that many Jordanian youths have achieved global achievements.
Al-Khasawneh stressed that our country is a station and a milestone in work and achievement, which is a source of pride for all of us.
