The Arab Karate Federation honors the Arab champions at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics
Nayrouz News Agency : The Arab Karate Federation honored, in a ceremony held today, Sunday in the Emirate of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, the Arab champions in the Olympic Games "Tokyo 2020".
 The federation honored the national team’s star, Abdul Rahman Mustafa, who won the bronze medal in the under-67 kilograms weight, in the presence of the President of the International Federation of the Game, the Spaniard Antonio Cibinos, the President of the Asian Federation of the Emirati game Nasser Al-Razouki, the President of the Confederation of the game Mohamed Masiahi, members of the Arab Federation Council and heads of the Arab Karate Federations .
 The Council of the Arab Karate Federation, headed by Ibrahim Al-Qannas, approved granting the champion players in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics the Golden Medal of the Federation, as well as the black belt certificate higher than the approved degree for the champions in their national federations.
 The honoring also included the Egyptian Faryal Ashraf, who won the gold medal for the weight over 61 kilograms, the Saudi Tariq Hamdi, who won the silver medal for the weight over 75 kilograms, and the Egyptian Gianna Lotfi, who won the bronze medal for the weight under 61 kilograms.
 The coaches of the Arab champions in the Olympics were also honored with the Sports Merit Medal, and they are the Egyptian coach Mohamed Ibrahim Salem, the national team coach, the Egyptian Hani Qeshta, the Moroccan Mounir Oufkir, the coach of the Saudi team, and the Egyptian Mohamed Abdel Regal, in addition to honoring the referees participating in the Olympics with the Sports Merit Medal, the Kuwaiti Mansour Sultan, Moroccan olive Matiout and Egyptian Haitham Farouk.
 The honoring witnessed the awarding of the Golden Medal by the President of the International Federation, in addition to the heads of the Asian and African federations and the heads of the Arab federations accomplished Olympia, namely, the President of the Egyptian Federation Muhammad Al-Dahrawi, the President of the Saudi Federation Musharraf Al-Shehri, and the President of the Jordanian Federation Ahmed Al-Daoud.
 In a speech at the ceremony, Antonio Cibinos stressed that Arab competencies have become a real influence on the level of the game globally, thanks to their leaps and the rise of their players in the media rankings and impressive Olympic achievements.
 For his part, Ibrahim Al-Qannas expressed his appreciation to all the attendees in the honoring evening, considering it a historic day that sends meanings of love, respect and motivation to all Arab champions, including players, coaches, referees and federation heads.
 He also extended his thanks and appreciation to the UAE Federation, headed by Major General Nasser Al Razouki, for their interest, efforts and support for the honoring ceremony, and for all Arab national federations for their keenness and growing interest in the game, considering that Arab champions are the difficult number in all global competitions.
