Today, Sunday, at the Republican Palace in the Sudanese capital (Khartoum), the ceremony of announcing the political agreement between the Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok to end the crisis in Sudan began.

 The Sudan News Agency stated that the political agreement stipulated that the constitutional document would be the main reference for completing the transitional period, with its amendment by consensus to achieve comprehensive political participation.

 It also stipulated that the transitional partnership between civilians and the military is the basis for the stability of Sudan, and that the Transitional Sovereignty Council shall be the supervisor of the implementation of the transitional period.

 The two parties agreed to manage the transitional period according to a political declaration that defines the partnership framework, to investigate the events that took place during the demonstrations, and to implement the "Juba" peace agreement and complete its entitlements.

 They also agreed to expedite the completion of all transitional government institutions, start a dialogue between all political forces to establish the constitutional conference, cancel Burhan’s decision to relieve Hamdok from his position, and the importance of building a unified national army in Sudan.
