Al-Masd said that a security delegation headed by National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji, and senior Iraqi army officers, arrived at Ain Al-Assad Air Base in Anbar Governorate, western Iraq. He added that the visit aims to observe the withdrawal of combat forces of the international coalition, and to review the logistical support points for the delivery of equipment and weapons to support the Iraqi security forces.

 It is noteworthy that the Iraqi-American agreement provides for the transition of the foreign presence in Iraq from combat to support for training and coordination.
