An Iraqi soldier was killed and another wounded on Tuesday after a suicide bombing targeted an army patrol north of Baghdad.

A police source said a bomber wearing an explosive belt blew himself up near an army patrol during an operation against militants in Tarmiyah town, 30 kilometers north of the capital.
