The ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip has taken a tragic toll as Israeli airstrikes continue for the fourth consecutive day, targeting civilian areas and media offices. In the early hours of Tuesday, these attacks resulted in the death of eight Palestinians, including journalists, and left several others wounded.
The Haji Tower, situated to the west of Gaza City and home to several media outlets, bore the brunt of the airstrikes, with casualties among both media professionals and civilians. This escalation comes as part of a broader Israeli military operation in the region.
Reports from Palestinian sources indicate that Israeli aircraft specifically targeted a residence in Jabaliya, resulting in fatalities among Palestinian residents and leaving others injured.
Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip also led to the complete destruction of three houses located in Gaza and Khan Yunis, both located in the southern region of Gaza. Tragically, a Palestinian woman lost her life as her home in the Haddabah area of Deir al-Balah came under attack. Several individuals were injured in the same incident and subsequently transported to Al-Aqsa Hospital.
In a separate incident, civilians suffered injuries as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting a house in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, located to the east of Khan Yunis.
Adding to the distressing situation, Israeli warplanes also targeted ambulance vehicles present in the Abasan al-Kabira area, which were intended for the transportation of injured individuals. Furthermore, Israeli airstrikes struck multiple targets in Gaza, including the Al-Nakhil residential tower, two mosques, two residential houses, and a cemetery.
