President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, affirmed his country’s categorical rejection of the Israeli attacks and genocidal policy committed against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples. 

"Those attacks come within the framework of the project of hegemony and colonialism on the Arab Islamic world and the Middle East,” Maduro said during a meeting with Lebanese Ambassador to Venezuela, Elias Labous 

President Maduro stressed that Venezuela is always committed to the fair issue of Palestine and Lebanon, pointing to the importance of international unity to confront injustice in the region.

"Venezuela stands and will always stand alongside Lebanon and Palestine in their just struggle for the sake of sovereignty and self-determination,” Maduro concluded.
